Configuring the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise source options

The BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise source system options specify how vault documents are named and where they are stored in the destination system.

To configure BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise source system options:

In BlueCielo Application Manager, expand the name of the publishing job in the configuration tree that you want to configure.
Select the Configuration branch in the configuration tree. The job's configuration pages appear in the right pane.
Click the Source tab. The Source configuration page appears.
From the Type list, select BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise.
Click Browse next to Source Vault and select the source vault. The BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise option group names appear. Click the expand icon next to an option group name to show the options in that group.
Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

Meridian Enterprise source options
Option	Description
Document name group
Use source document name	Keeps the original name from the source vault.
Use property value from source document	Applies the value of the selected property as the document name.
Document location group
Use source document path	Reproduces the folder structure of the original location in the destination system.
Use property value from source document	Applies the value of the selected property as the parent folder name in the destination system.
Use Meridian navigation view path	Creates the document's path in the selected navigation view as the path in the destination system.
Publish to single folder	Publishes all documents from the source system to a single folder in the destination system.
Miscellaneous group
Delete source document after successful publication	Deletes source documents after they have been successfully published to the destination system. This can be useful when the Publisher is used to archive documents into a central system or an archive vault. Warning Due to the risk of accidental data loss, this option is only available if the EnablePurgeOption value in the following registry key is set to 1. Be certain that you want to use this option before enabling it. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueCielo ECM Solutions\Publisher \BlueCieloECM.Adapters.Meridian.SourceAdapter
Update feedback property in the source system	Select a custom document property to which a textual result message from the publishing job can be set. This property can be used to show the document's current publication status in the Meridian Enterprise client applications. No error message is generated if the feedback property cannot be set. We recommend the BCRenditionPropertySet._RESULT property. Note This option is only available if the source system supports property updates. Tip The BCRenditionPropertySet._FORMAT property will contain the file extension of the rendition file.
Publish existing renditions if they are up-to-date	If enabled, prevents unnecessary re-rendering of vault documents. The existing rendition will be published instead.

Click Save to save your changes.
